Recognized for contribution to Sarawak's engineering development, having trained approximately 75 percent of Sarawak's engineers.
- More than 30 years hands on experience as an Authorized Inspector and Auditor under German pressure vessel, boiler and storage tank codes.
- Experienced with Pressure Equipment Directive, Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive and European Construction Material Directive.
- 9 years of experience within TÜV's International Business Units in the Asia Pacific region.

Introduction to codes and standards governing pressure equipment, alongside an overview of low-pressure or non-pressure storage tanks and their associated systems.

Technical topics:
- Part 1: Codes and standards related to pressure equipment.
- Part 2: Pressure equipment, non pressure or low pressure storage tanks and related equipment.
Day 2
8 Sept 2026
Vessel & Piping Focus
Detailed breakdown of the pressure equipment life cycle across API and ASME codes, multi-role maintenance integration, and core execution knowledge required for API 510 and API 570 certifications.
Held in Imperial Hotel Bintulu.
Technical topics:
- Part 3 & 4:Life cycle of pressure equipment covering ASME Codes and API Codes & Standards.
- Part 5:Integrating the owner operator, inspector, engineer, examiner, and maintenance.
- Part 6:Summarizing what an Inspector or Engineer should know for API 510 and API 570.

Exploration of advanced non-destructive testing (NDT), implementation of the Malaysian Industrial Code of Practice for Plant Management Systems, and the strategic integration of TVET in shaping the next generation of the engineering workforce.
